Flare systems with steam supply

In flare systems with steam supply, depending on the tip diameter, steam can be supplied:

• through the ring
• through the ring and through the center
• through two rings and through the center

Improved steam supply system is used to significantly reduce steam flow rate and improve combustion quality in the flare tips. In this case, steam is supplied, depending on the flow rate of discharged gas, both to the central steam nozzle and to the small and large steam rings.

Flare systems with air supply

Flare systems with air supply are modern and highly economical way to ensure the required smokelessness.

Since in this case using an expensive steam header is not required, and smokeless flare systems allow to reduce operating expenses, Client can achieve significant cost savings, usually amounting to millions of Rubles per year.

Flare systems with reactive tips

Reactive flare tips are tips with single or multiple nozzles for reactive mixing with air. Reactive flare tips provide smokelessness within the upper range of emergency discharge, herewith supply of steam or air is not required. 

Flare systems can include flare pipelines, K.O. drums, pumps, flare stacks, tips or burners, gas seals, control and automation devices, remote ignition devices, fuel and combustible gas supply pipelines, pilot burners with ignition devices and other devices necessary to ensure safe combustion of discharges. Specific scope of flare system equipment is determined by the requirements given in the data sheet or other input data provided by the Client.

Various steel grades are used for manufacturing of open-type vertical flare systems depending on the loads acting on the structure, including temperature loads.

Additionally, chemical composition of the incinerated components is taken into account during material selection: metal shall be resistant both to thermal and chemical impacts.

Precise design, geometric dimensions and scope of flare system are determined by the specialists on a case-by-case basis depending on many parameters: capacity, speed, pressure, density, temperature, chemical composition of each discharge stream, operating conditions.
