Flare systems with steam supply

In flare systems with steam supply, depending on the diameter of the head, steam can be supplied:

• through a ring
• through a ring and through the center
• through two rings and through the center

To significantly reduce steam flow rate and improve the completeness of combustion, an improved steam supply system is used in flare tips. In this case, steam is supplied, depending on the flow rate of the discharged gas, both to the central steam atomizing burner and to the small and large steam rings.

Flare systems with air supply

Flare systems with air supply are a modern and highly economical way to ensure the required smokelessness.

Due to the absence of the need to use an expensive steam header, as well as lower operating expenses when using smokeless flare systems, the Customer achieves significant cost savings, usually amounting to millions of rubles per year.

Flare systems with high-speed tips

High-speed flare tips are tips with single or multiple nozzles for reactive mixing with air. High-speed flare tips provide smokelessness in the upper range of emergency discharge, while no steam or air supply is required. 

Flare systems may include flare pipelines, separators, pumps, flare stacks, tips or burner devices, gas valves, control and automation devices, remote ignition devices, fuel and combustible gas supply pipelines, pilot burners with ignition devices, other devices necessary to ensure safe combustion of discharges. The specific composition of the equipment of flare systems is determined by the requirements of the questionnaire or other source data of the Customer.

Various grades of steel are used for manufacture of open-type vertical flare systems depending on the loads affecting the structure, including temperature loads.

Additionally, when choosing the materials, the chemical composition of the burned components is taken into account: the metal shall be resistant both to thermal and chemical effects.

The exact design, geometric dimensions and composition of the flare system are determined by specialists individually depending on many parameters: performance, speed, pressure, density, temperature, chemical composition of each of the discharge streams, working conditions.
