Scope of Equipment
Valve assembly is a structurally complete and spatially formed assembly piece of process unit with a given level of pre-fabrication designed to be used in the main and auxiliary technology processes consisting of:
- process pipelines with isolation, safety and control valves;
- instrumentation and automation;
- devices (filters, etc.);
- maintenance devices (steel structures, block-boxes, etc.);
- operator/local automation block-boxes with life support systems.
Valve assemblies can be designed both on a special supporting structure (frame) and without it. Valve assemblies can be manufactured in open and closed types, as well as in the form of block-boxes with insulated foundations and lined by wall and roof panels made of non-combustible insulation. Seismicity of the installation area shall be in accordance with SP 14.13330 (on MSK-64 scale). Climatic version and location category are assigned in accordance with GOST 15150 and are indicated in the design and operational documentation.
Valve assemblies can be combined with other units or other process equipment using piping, isolation and control valves and other components.
